Hey there! So here's just an update about what I'm working on. A lot has happened since I last went through this. I also realize that this update is more for myself than anyone else. Oh, well.
Fire in the Stars went through a major edit this summer when I realized that it was 220 000 words. Even for a fantasy novel, that's a bit too long. So I hacked it down. I've also done a few short stories this summer for contests. Haven't heard back yet.

The Scroungers - "We are the Scroungers. We live in the trash. That's all that can be said." Duster and the other Scroungers live in the garbage left in the abandoned old city, gathering the remnants of the world that was left behind.

I have no idea what that means.
Anyway, I've been pretty much a ghost here since January, and now to explain why!
I did something very, very stupid
I decided to re-edit Fire in the Stars for the 12 Hundredth time. There was always this one scene that really bothered me, so I had to fix it. I dropped pages while I was at it. It is now 580 pages (1.5 spacing), which would probably work out to about 395 pages single-spaced (from an original 419). Not bad. So because of this, I haven't done any real writing for awhile. Everything got put on the shelf, but now I'm back and (after breaking through a rusty two days) on a roll!
